The Day They Started Fish Tossing

The fish started flying long before the first Fish Toss, but we'll always remember the first ones. Legends say Stumptown settlers used to throw 4.7 fish per day. They threw fish for sport, for celebration, in mourning, and to commemorate the creation of a new stump. Today, we Fish Toss in their honor.
